Camera Ready Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Authors of accepted papers (both for the long and the short papers) should submit the Camera Ready version of their papers by following these steps:

  1. Please follow the Springer LNCS author instructions (link to to prepare the camera ready manuscript of up to 12 single spaced pages. Additional pages including all figures, tables, and references (with a maximum of 2 pages per paper) may be purchased for 3,000 JPY (Japanese Yen) per page (see the Registration page). For Short Paper the Camera Ready copy is maximum 8 pages.  

  2. Fill out the Springer LNCS copyright form (, 
    (Title of the Book or Conference Name: "IEA/AIE 2016", Volume Editor(s): "Hamido Fujita et al.")

  3. Create a .zip file, including the following items:
    • The .pdf of the manuscript
    • The source files of the manuscript (i.e., either a .doc or .docx file, or a subfolder with all relevant LaTeX files)
    • The signed Springer LNCS copyright form.
    • A filled out Excel file with further paper information (corresponding author info, full list of authors, and their emails and suggestion for abbreviated running head)

  4. Name the compressed files as stated above according to your paper ID (e.g., if your paper ID is 83, then the compressed file should be named "").

  5. Go to the submission page (, login as author and select your accepted paper, and submit both your camera ready manuscript (e.g., "83.pdf") and the compressed file (e.g., "", supplementary file(source file)) via the CMT system on or before April 15, 2016.

  6. Finally, to have your paper included in the proceedings, one author of the paper should register for the conference on or before April 18, 2016 (if one author has more than one paper, there is a discount of 4,000 JPY for each additional paper).
